920 thousand dollars will be spent this summer to refurbish Harbour Passage which could do with some sprucing up.
Kent MacIntyre of the Saint John Development Corporation is more optimistic than some people in the city are about the state of the local economy. He says if the auto dealerships are doing well selling new cars then that’s a good sign the economy is stable which is the case these days in Saint John.
MacIntyre points out it has been 14 years since Harbour Passage was resurfaced so he expects this one to last ten plus years.
