A major expansion announced by the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton as it nears its fundraising goal of 25 million dollars.
A new pavilion will be built to be attached to the existing building that will afford, we are told, a stunning view of the St. John River.
The pavilion will add 14 thousand square feet of space over three levels. Included in the revamped art gallery, will be the creation of two exhibition galleries for rotating art exhibitions as well as showcasing the Gallery’s permanent collection.
There will also be a space set aside for the monumental Salvador Dali painting “Santiago el Grande”and a new outdoor sculpture courtyard.
