Pro Kids raising 40 thousand dollars raised to help young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to play sports and get involved in the arts. All the money raised is used to help the young people.
The dinner heard from the new C-E-O of Opportunities NB, Stephen Lund who sees a link between sports and being succesful in other endeavours. He says if the provincial economy becomes more prosperous there will be fewer young people who need the help of Pro Kids.
Lund has an impresive track record having been named one of the top 50 C-E-O’s in Atlantic Canada by Atlantic Business Magazine and being inducted into the Atlantic Business Magazine’s C-E-O Hall of Fame in 2011.
