Defeating the Harper Government in October’s federal election is the top priority for the Canadian Labour Congress.
That’s the message delivered to the New Brunswick Federation of Labour at its annual convention by the C-L-C’s Secretary-Treasurer Barb Byers who says income inequality is getting worse and people are tired of their concerns being disregarded.
She charges Prime Minister Harper wants to desatroy unions and social movements.
The C-L-C is supporting the NDP, charging the Liberals say one thing when they campaign but do another after getting elected and no one knows what their priorities are.
