The Magnetic Hill area is going to start looking a lot different by later this summer.
Magic Mountain is expanding to include an amusement park, adjacent to the water park.
Maritime Fun Group spokesman John Jelley says many of the rides were part of Crystal Palace.
“Phase 1 is opening hopefully in mid-July. Of course, weather is a factor with construction. But we’re hoping to have about 8 rides set up for this July. Next year we are looking to add some larger, carnival rides. So we’re looking at around 4 rides next year,” says Jelley.
Phase 3 of the amusement park is expected to open in 2017 with a large indoor facility featuring an 18 hole golf course, laser tag and an arcade.
