In the National League, Bryce Harper hit his 18th homer of the season and Max Scherzer struck out 13 in Washington’s 3-0 win over the Chicago Cubs……St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams could miss the rest of the season with a strained right quadriceps and will undergo surgery tomorrow.
