The Brighten Group raising $22,000 at their Person of Influence Luncheon with guest speaker Christine Magee.
The funds will go towards equipment and activities for the patients living at the Regional Hospital’s Transition Ward.
Faith Kashetsky tells us the ward is 63 patients living on 3B South and 4B North who are transitiong to another level of care.
She says this a population that gets forgotten because they are no longer getting services in a medical setting as they are medically discharged.
