Moncton Northwest MLA Ernie Steeves lives in the neighbourhood that was under lockdown for almost 30 hours, on June 4th last year.
He says one year later, many people are still trying to grips with the fact that this happened in their city.
Steeves feels that Moncton lost a lot of innocence on that day last year, but he doesn’t want residents to live in fear.
