Working together instead of competing against one another is a key theme in the Atlantic Canada Event Summit which is being held in Moncton today and tomorrow.
Bill Whalen, a member of the Moncton Events Advisory Committee, says working together should make it much easier to make pitches to promoters and bring more events to the region as a whole.
“To bring a big concert or big event to Atlantic Canada, it’s a known quantity and they recognize it’s a region that has their act together and understands the game of events management,” he notes.
Whalen believes working together can only strengthen opportunities for Atlantic Canada to attract more events to the region.
