The Atlantica Centre for Energy releasing a report that demand for natural gas has grown in the region over the last decade but the big questions are where will the future supply come from and how much will it cost.
The report points out off shore Nova Scotia gas has been the source of natural gas for the Maritimes since 1999 but its supplies are depleting with no other local source available with moratoriums in place on shale gas development in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
