The end is near for the building that once housed the Falls Restaurant, even though some think it should stay open.
Max Kotlowski is from Saint John and says he visited the old building recently.
Kotlowski says the building’s foundation is still solid and salvageable.
The City is will undergo an environmental, structural and hazard assessment on the building.
The completed assessment will help determine when the building will be demolished.
The building has been in the city since the 1950’s.
