The water is safe to drink again in McAdam.
McAdam Mayor Frank Carroll telling us the Boil Order that was in effect for the Village of McAdam has now been lifted, effective immediately.
The boil order had been in place for the past four weeks, since a thunderstorm on the afternoon of May 28th.
It’s believed a lightning strike caused the Village to lose power. Tens of thousands of other New Brunswickers across the province also lost power that day because of the stormy weather.
