A criminal complaint is expected to be filed by the New Brunswick Police Association against a member of its Executive.
The unnamed Fredericton Police officer is being investigated for the misappropriation of funds from the New Brunswick Police Association. A complaint was made by Fredericton Police Chief Leanne Fitch to the New Brunswick Police Commission.
When the criminal complaint is filed, the Police Commission investigation will be put on hold until the criminal investigation is finished.
