Three more charges have been laid against a 27-year-old Saint John man for vandalism which forced the closure of the RCMP detachment in St. George since June 17th.
Nolan Joseph LeBlanc was earlier charged with one count of break and enter. He now faces mischief charges as well.
LeBlanc has been sent to the Restigouche Hospital for a 30 day assessment and is scheduled to be back in St. Stephen Provincial Court July 21st.
The amount of damage to the detachment is still being added up.
Employees have been working out of other detachments and police officers out of their vehicles. It is expected the detachment will be back in operation in a few days time.
