The new housing unit for low-income seniors and people with disabilities on Churchill Boulevard should be open by September.
The units will include their own washer and dryer and have features that will make life a lot easier for the aging population in the city.
Wallace Floyd is with Vimy Estates and tells CHSJ News some floors have a library, a low impact exercise space and a theatre.
Floyd says there’s been a lot of interest from the community and some leases have already been signed.
The building will include both 1 and 2 bedroom units, with prices varying from $750 to $975.
