Saint John MP Rodney Weston announcing the city will be pumping $4.7-million into eight wastewater projects funded by the Federal Gas Tax.
Weston tells us we know we have Canada’s oldest incorporated city and our infrastructure in some cases dates back many years.
The projects will include water main cleaning and lining and installing new storm sewer piping and structures to upgrade the existing storm sewer system.
Weston says some of the projects are underway and nearly all of them will be completed by late this year.
