No Saint Johner will be able to claim that they’re bored on Canada Day with free activities scheduled from morning to dusk.
Some of the highlights include the Mayor’s Cup Skateboard Challenge, the Canada Day People Parade and of course, the fireworks.
Chair of the Canada Day Committee Heather Peterson says she gets goosebumps every time the flag is raised in front of City Hall “because that’s what we do it for.”
Saint John Transit is providing free transportation for the celebrations.
