Some wet weather over the weekend has helped to lift a complete fire ban in New Brunswick.
Burning is now allowed in eastern parts of the province including Westmorland, Albert and Kent counties acccording to the latest update from the Department of Natural Resources.
Burning in the evening and overnight is allowed in Saint John, Charlotte, Kings and Queens Counties.
A burn ban remains in place for western and central New Brunswick including York, Sunbury and Carleton counties.
