Horizon Health’s decision to ask registered nurses to start wearing black and white uniforms starting in 2016 getting a warm welcome from nurses in the province.
That’s according to the President of the New Brunswick Nurses Union, Marilyn Quinn.
Quinn tells us the union has been working on this for the past year and half after hearing from nurses who spoke about wanting to be recognized at work. She says on a voluntary basis nurses around New Brunswick have already moved to the white and black uniforms.
Quinn tells us registered nurses are proud to be acknowledged for the work they do and the expertise they have in health care.
