The size of the crowds for this year’s Atlantic Nationals Car Show in Moncton was phenomenal according to event chairperson Bill Doherty.
Estimates have pegged the number at about 100,000 people between the downtown street party and Centennial Park over the weekend.
Doherty says the quality of the cars in this year’s show was also evident.
“We had fantastic cars and it was brought to my attention that the cars were just stellar with a lot of brand new cars and a lot of cars that had never been to the show,” he says.
Doherty adds the show continues to be a work in progress and he already has a few new ideas for next year which he won’t be revealing just yet.
