Jesse Edward Reynolds in court for the first time since he was charged in relation to the July death of Jessica Ann Miller.
The 20 year old from Apohaqui was reported missing in early July and her body was found days later in woods west of Saint John.
Reynolds appearing in court with a shaved head wearing a blue shirt and black pants.
His lawyer David Lutz speaking for his client saying he is waiving the election process and choosing a trial by judge alone.
Reynold faces one charge of committing an indignity to a body and in this case it relates to moving her body.
Lutz says Reynolds will enter a plea when he appears before a Court of Queen’s Bench Judge.
Gale Miller, Jessica’s mother, cried while sitting in court with other family members.
A judge alone trial for Jesse Reynolds may take place early next month.
