No decisions are expected tonight but Quispamsis Council will receive a recommendation to build a cluster of three ball fields on town owned property at Hamption Road and Sleepy Hollow.
The Director of Community Services in the town, Dana Purton-Dickson says a field analysis was carried out in response to concerns from K-V Minor Baseball and K-V Girls Softball. Public consultation discovered townspeople wanted more fields and better time slots to play.
The town also being urged to develop a master plan for recreation and install lights at the Meenan’s Cove field.
It’s projected the population of Quispamsis will grow to 25 thousand in ten years time.
