Outgoing Conservative MP Rodney Weston says he is proud of his record after serving as Saint John’s MP for 7 years.
He tells CHSJ News the Liberal momentum in Atlantic Canada was a force beyond his control.
Westons says he recognizes that rising tides lift all ships but it also goes in and out. He adds that it’s hard to swim against that tide.
As for advice for new MP Wayne Long, he says it’s a tough job and he hopes Long delivers on the commmitments he made during the campaign.
