Prime Minister Designate Justin Trudeau hasn’t said whether he supports the Energy East pipeline project. The Vice President for Manufacturers & Exporters for New Brunswick Joel Richardson remains positive despite the change of government, that the Energy East Pipeline will come to pass.
It’s just a matter of when.
Richardson says there are concerns the project will be delayed, he says New Brunswick is in desperate need of jobs, with a lot of people who need to get back to work.
He says Trudeau wouldn’t come out and support the pipeline, but said the process needed to be looked at further.
Richardson says it’s encouraging to see recently elected MP’s expressing a desire to see the Energy East Pipeline project to be seriously considered.
