A fire cut short Whoopi Goldberg’s set at Casino New Brunswick last night.
Platoon Chief Brian Gaudet says they got a call about a fire at the back of the Casino.
When they arrived they found a lot of smoke around the wheels.
“Before we even had a chance to investigate any further we had fire extending from the rear area of the tour bus,” says Gaudet.
Gaudet says the Casino was not evacuated, and there was no one on the bus at the time.
He adds it took about 10 minutes to control the fire – with only hotspots to deal with after that.
