Small businesses in this country should be using the internet more because consumers are buying more online.
That word from the Chief Economist of the Business Development Bank of Canada, Pierre Cleroux who points out we’re behind other industrialised countries in this regard.
Cleroux points out only 17 per cent of small businesses are selling online and generally, we are less technologically innovative and invest less in technology than other industrialised countries like the U.S. and Britain.
