Changes are on the way involving how the city handles road repairs.
The motion being brought forward by Councillor John MacKenzie.
MacKenzie says too many people are having damange done to their vehicles, due to the quality of the roads.
He calls for changes on deadlines when dealing with road repairs, effective next year.
MacKenzie says it takes weeks, sometimes months, for drivers to be able to drive on fresh pavement.
He says with new guidelines in place, he doubts the city will have to worry about it in the future.
