What’s left of a hurricane that recently impacted Mexico is now making its way across the Maritimes.
The remnants of Patricia have brought rain and gusty winds.
Weather Network meteorologist Dayna Viteese tells us the wind is also churning up the sea.
“New Brunswick is seeing wind gusts of about 70 km/h or so… that’s kind of the highest we are going to get. Anywhere along the Bay of Fundy we are looking for some rough surf.”
At least 25 mm of rain is expected by the time the storm moves away later tonight.
The fall storm has also led to many power outages across the province with NB Power noting a peak of roughly 6,000 customers without electricity.
