It’s not a great day for driving or walking in the Saint John area.
Fairville Boulevard is closed due to flooding from Manawagonish Road to Kierstead Road.
Redhead Road is closed at the breakwater because of flooding and a section of Bayside Drive is also closed.
Chipman Hill from Union to King Street has been closed because of the fear someone might be hit by scaffolding that’s blowing around.
A similar incident happened on King Street when a piece of metal siding was flapping around in the wind and eventually came off.
No one was hurt.
The afternoon sailing of the Fundy Rose from Digby has been cancelled.
