Your pet can have a lot of fun on Halloween as well.
But be sure to keep your dog or cat safe, if they are going to be near the door when the trick or treaters arrive.
Executive Director for the Greater Moncton SPCA Karen Nelson says all of the ghosts and ghouls can be a scary ordeal frightening ordeal, and your pet can dart out the door from fear, and then you’ll spend your Halloween looking for them.
Nelson says you should also make sure they have all of their identification up to date, in case they do get out.
You should also keep all candy away from your pet, especially chocolate. It can be very toxic for a dog or cat.
