The education system is antiquated and in danger of failing an entire generation. That warning from Sarah Prevette of the Future Design School, one of the speakers at Walrus Talks.
She maintains the current school system stifles experimentation and educators are not allowed to be innovators.
Prevette argues some time should be set aside in schools to spark the creativity of students. She calls it structured unstructuredness, maintaining there should be more focus on the softer skills set because we need a generation of problem solvers with an entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurship should be taught in school.
