The Crisis Response Team is working with guidance Counsellors at Tantramar Regional High School today, after the tragic deaths of two teens.
18 year old Colby Callender and 16 year old Chad Alder were killed Friday night after the car they were in left Route 16 and rolled several times.
Public visitations will be held for the boys tomorrow at Jones Funeral Home in Port Elgin and funerals will be held on Wednesday.
The funeral service will be streamed to the Port Elgin Regional School to accommodate the anticipated high attendance.
Meantime, a third teen in the same crash, is clinging to life at Moncton Hospital.
A family member says 17 year old Jason Bourque has been in a coma since the accident.
Jason’s Aunt Valerie Wamboldt says he is a very strong boy, and he is fighting to stay alive.
She is rallying for support and donations for the family, and for when Jason wakes up, “Anything, anyone can give is great . Even if they just drop by the webpage and leave their thoughts and prayers for Melissa to read while they’re in the hospital.”
Valerie says Jason’s Mom Melissa, just bought a new home, and she works two jobs. The money will be used to pay the bills, and any medical supplies Jason needs once he wakes up.
