Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long calls the events in France a tragic and senseless act of terrorism.
Long says the events reminds Canadians that we live in difficult times and as a country, we need to remain vigilant and always keep our eyes open.
He says he isn’t concerned about refugees entering Canada after the attacks in Paris, calling it the “right thing to do”.
Long says in order to enter the country, a checklist of requirements have to be followed first.
