The owner of Country 94 and the Wave, Acadia Broadcasting, has announced a further expansion with agreement to buy radio station CJLS-FM in Yarmouth.
An application has been filed with the CRTC which has to approve. If that happens, finalisation of the sale would likely take place in the early spring of next year.
In Nova Scotia, Acadia Broadcasting owns two stations in Bridgewater and this latest purchase would provide radio coverage throughout the southern part of the province from Digby to Bridgewater.
