That from Dr. David Charters of the Gregg Centre at UNB Fredericton who says all we have to do is look to the Ottawa shooting last year.
Charters tells us the Paris attacks complicate the Trudeau government’s plan to bring Syrian refugees.
He say there will be pockets of people here that think we shouldn’t do anything at all because of the risk.
He says we have to do something humanitarian because it’s the Canadian way of doing things and it means we should consider the risks involved but not turn our backs.
He thinks we can expect to see more of the same from ISIS…some in Europe and some elsewhere.
