The theft of tires from two different locations in the city being investigated by police.
The first theft was reported at the Maritime-Ontario truck compound at Spruce Lake. The tires were taken from a storage trailer.
The locks were also cut off from two storage trailers containing tires at Tri-Star Mercedes on Rothesay Avenue. It’s not known how many tires were stolen in the thefts.
Police are also searching for two women in the theft of lottery tickets from Forest Hill Grocery. They were seen on video surveillance. Police say it appears one distracted the store clerk while the other stole the tickets.
They’re also looking at video surveillance after the theft of cellphones and chargers from a kiosk in McAllister Place.
