Cooking for Cancer comes to Saint John Thursday night at the Delta.
It’s a fundraiser featuring 10 celebrity chefs, each of whom have pledged to raise at least 5 thousand dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society. They will try to be voted the top chef of the night with the dishes they prepare.
Jill Russell of the Cancer Society says the event has an added attraction……..A wine market that will feature brands you normally don’t find in New Brunswick.
The tickets go for 75 dollars each with a tax receipt issued for 35 dollars. Russell says there are 400 tickets on offer and more than 300 have already been sold.
