It turns out 7700 Saint John Energy customers were without power today.
The lights went out just before 4pm and came back for 5600 just prior to 530pm.
In their latest tweet, Saint John Energy says efforts to restore 2100 customers still off the grid are ongoing.
The cause of the outage was a loss of supply from NB Power.
