The Knight of Columbus giving a boost to the Saint Vincent’s Apartment project on Cliff Street with a donation of $100,000.
Grand Knight Ronald Cowie tells CHSJ News they think this project is really needed in the community.
He says the units in the apartment complex will be above average in size and there will be some subsidized units that will help those with low incomes.
The donation is intended for a community room in the repurposed building.
The new complex will have over 40 units and some of those will be designated for low income famillies.
