Saint Johners can catch a glimpse of and wave to Jolly Old Saint Nick tomorrow as he parades through the city streets.
The 63rd annual Saint John Santa Claus parade begins on the corner of Crown and Union Streets and 6pm and ends at Landsdowne Place. All four lanes of the Causeway will be blocked off at 3pm.
Tracy Hanson of Uptown Saint John tells us they have about 70 floats this year and the theme is a Cartoon Christmas: Past and Present.
At the beginning of the parade city workers will be gathering food donations and the New Brunswick Community College and Allied Health will be collecting coats for Coats for Kids and Safe Harbour.
Letters to Santa Claus will be picked up along the parade route just before the arrival of Santa Claus. You’re being reminded to include your return mailing address.
