The reduction in cafeteria hours by Horizon Health and elimination of the service altogether in Sussex and St. Stephen coming up before the Legislature Committee on Crown Corporations.
Horizon Health CEO John McGarry says if the revenue isn’t there then question arises whether the service is needed but there was no desire to eliminate jobs and reduce or eliminate services some people see as being necessary.
McGarry indicates there could still be another change down the road if a lower cost alternative can be found that will better match the revenue being generated and he made a commitment to look into that.
In a somewhat joking manner, McGarry told the committee, the world today likes fast food so if you just wanted to drive revenue upward then that’s the direction you woulde go
