Excavators are breaking up rock and large trucks are hauling it away as a construction project begins on Prince Edward Street.
The site is the future home of the Social Enterprise Hub which will see several non-profit groups like the Saint John Community Loan Fund and the Human Development Council along with the Saint John Learning Exchange and its two businesses Stone Soup Catering and the Voila Cleaning Service in one spot.
Loan Fund General Manager Seth Asimakos says the construction forms and concrete will be poured before the end of this year.
The site is set to open next summer.
