The 63rd annual Saint John Santa Claus parade yesterday featured approximately 70 floats.
The winning floats this year:
Winning “best in parade” was Simonds High School.
Pub Down Under won “best commercial entry”.
St. Malachy’s Memorial High School won “best school”.
At the beginning of the parade, city workers accepted donations and the New Brunswick Community College and Allied Health collected coats for Coats for Kids and Safe Harbour.
The parade started on the corner of Crown and Union Streets and ended at Lansdowne Place.
