Mayor Mel Norton says he’s leaning towards seeking another term as mayor, but no final decision has been made.
Norton has been taking french lessons, leaving some to believe he might be contemplating a run for the leadership of the Provincial Progressive Conservatives.
He says one of the commitments that was made during the municipal election campaign was to do more to connect with the Francophone community in Saint John.
Norton says he’s doing what he can to represent the city as a whole.
He became mayor in 2012 with more than 75% of the votes.
