Syrian refugees will be arriving next month and a Saint John church has a family lined up.
Rev. Wayne Murphy of Lancaster Baptist Church says it’s a family of 5 made up of a mom, dad, two girls and a boy who have been in Lebanon. Rev. Murphy isn’t sure when they will be arriving in Saint John but the sooner the better considering the conditions the refugees are existing in.
Rev. Murphy says the church already has an apartment on the west side arranged for them and he expects it will be furnished by the time they arrive. They all speak Arabic but the father speaks some french as well.
