Main Street in Hampton is closed because of a major fire which has destroyed the Pizza Delight near the Rotary on Railway Crescent. The building also housed an upstairs pub.
The fire started in the early morning hours.
We’re told the Wayside Inn across the street was evacuated and the building hosed down.
Drivers have to use Kennebecasis River Road to get about. The Hampton Fire Department says Main Street will be blocked off for several hours.
Other fire departments are also helping out.
