A St. Stephen man facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of his mother last year appearing before a judge in Saint John.
Matthew Linus Tucker in the docket for a pre-trial hearing where Mr. Justice Terrence Morrison along with Crown and Defence lawyers discussed matters such as Tucker’s video statement and search warrants relating to the investigation.
53 year old Dorothy Tucker of Oak Haven was reported missing on November 10th 2014.
A large search began which involved RCMP divers. Hunters found her body 10 days later.
The next stage of pre-trial matters begins on January 8th.
Matthew Tucker’s two week trial is set to begin with jury selection on February 15t
