A weather statement from Environment Canada warns of possible freezing rain and snow this week.
A warm front will push light rain across the province tonight.
Freezing rain is expected overnight into Wednesday morning mainly over central and northern regions of New Brunswick.
In southern regions, temperatures should be above zero before and after the rain starts.
Rain continues into Wednesday with temperatures rising above zero everywhere.
The cold front will follow Thursday and into Thursday night sweeping down across the province.
A significant snowfall is possible with the cold front along with strong winds which could give blowing snow to parts of the province Thursday night.
