Premier Brian Gallant is taking part in the Paris convention on Climate change.
There are 151 national representatives attending the two week conference with the hopes of completing a binding framework for post-2020 emissions reductions.
Gallant says combatting climate change is important for our economy.
Albert MLA Brian Keirstead and Fredericton South MLA David Coon will also participate in the conference as members of the New Brunswick delegation.
While in Paris, the Premier will deliver a speech to the France-Canada Chamber of Commerce on the opportunities that exist for New Brunswick and the European Union regarding trade and economic growth.
The Convention is being held until December 11th.
