Provincial NDP leader Dominic Cardy says the federal legalization is something that’s clearly coming down the pike and the Gallant Government should make sure it has a group off people ready and thinking about this right off the bat.
Cardy tells us the provincial government has to sit down a take a measured, step-by-step approach to this issue – and that this has a lot of implications across a lot of different departments.
Cardy says New Brunswick needs to make sure we are ready to take advantage of the opportunities offered by legalization and to mitigate the risks as well.
